Colorado Tech Online is pleased to announce the addition of a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management, available to students with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in a technology related field from a two-year college with which Colorado Technical University has an articulation agreement covering this specific degree opportunity. In response to the growing need for knowledgeable, skilled professionals in an interesting and diverse field of employment, coursework is focused on teaching students how to define and explain the basic functional areas of management and the critical skills necessary to solve business problems, explain the impact a global and electronic marketplace has on management practices, human resources, and strategic decision making, and integrate technical knowledge with management principles to solve real-world problems through a capstone experience.
This Bachelor of Science degree program features courses including: E-Business, Business Decision-Making, Managing Human Resources, Employee Training and Development and others. Coursework is structured to technology professionals performing key management functions, whether in a small business setting (as proprietor, partner, or supervisor) or within a large company that provides a variety of supervisory or management positions to its technical staff.
