Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership

Leadership is the ability to help others move organizations forward in changing times. While the focus of the program is cultivating the ability to lead at any level, individuals also develop and refine skills in critical thinking, problem solving, motivating and empowering others, and communicating effectively and persuasively. Students will analyze the practices of leaders and apply their traits, styles and behaviors to their own leadership practice.

Major courses include: critical thinking/decision making, leading change, leadership and ethics and organizational communication.

Courses are offered in an accelerated, 8-week format. Students can obtain a degree in four years (less with transfer credits). Those entering with an associate's degree or equivalent can earn their Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership degree in about two years. Prospective students with prior college credit and/or other credit-bearing experience can submit transcripts for an evaluation and degree plan.
