Hodges University's Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) program supports the University's philosophy of being an open, creative and community conscious institution of higher learning. Graduates of Hodges are prepared to adapt to change, fulfill social responsibilities, understand the global perspective, adhere to standards of excellence and appreciate life-long learning. They are able to measurably demonstrate integrative excellence in the core competencies of research, critical thinking, effective communication, leadership and initiative.

Graduates from the IDS program discover that they have a variety of career options. They find employment in careers such as law, education, human resources, medicine, social services, gerontology, sales, marketing technology, retail and management. The graduate of an IDS program has the integrated ability to propel an organization forward – to unravel the complex web created by the challenges of our twenty-first century global world. 60 credit hours are required to complete this degree.
