The Hodges' Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a general public sector professional degree program, intended to prepare graduates for managerial roles in government and non-profit enterprises. Graduates of the program will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to lead and contribute to organizational success at the executive level. Mastery of the critical competencies such as administration, public policy planning, decision making, environmental scanning, finance, budgeting, and research are included in the MPA program of study.

MPA graduates are required to successfully complete prescribed course work in the Public Administration Core and their choice of the government track or the non-profit track. All MPA students must successfully complete the MPA Comprehensive Exam in order to graduate. This degree consists of 30 credit hours (10 courses).
