Interested in taking care of the planet? Today, scientists must be trained to assess problems and provide potential solutions from scientific perspectives when faced with environmental issues, to predict environmental change, and to participate in responsible management of the environment. To help reach these objectives, OSU's online Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences offers an interdisciplinary approach to environmental problem solving. As an Environmental Sciences major, you will study an interdisciplinary curriculum in basic science, the humanities and social sciences. The curriculum focuses on complex environmental issues, such as depletion of the ozone layer, greenhouse gases, nuclear waste, acid rain and pollution. Students will also obtain excellent training for a variety of career options and also be well-prepared for graduate school. Students will complete a total of at least 180 credits.

OSU Extended Campus additionally offers over 15 online minors to complement your degree, to help hone your skills in a particular field and can enhance your marketability after graduation. Students will complete a total of at least 180 credits.
