B.S. Human Development and Family Sciences

OSU Extended Campus is pleased to offer a B.S. degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. The general option in human development and family sciences examines human development within the context of families, schools, communities, and other social and cultural environments. This degree offers tremendous flexibility by allowing students to pursue an interdisciplinary approach to their education that will prepare them for a rewarding career in a helping profession. The HDFS online degree program is accessible for you to complete through OSU Extended Campus (Ecampus). Participants in the Ecampus HDFS major work toward a Bachelor Science (B.S.) degree. All coursework is delivered through OSU via the Web, streaming video, interactive media and DVD.

OSU Extended Campus additionally offers over 15 online minors to complement your degree, to help hone your skills in a particular field and can enhance your marketability after graduation. Students will complete a total of at least 180 credits.
