Associate of Applied Science in Accounting - Banking

Rasmussen College's Associate of Applied Science in Accounting with a Banking emphasis allows Rasmussen College students to focus on general banking issues and practices they may encounter in the workplace. Classes in the banking emphasis include Fundamental to Consumer Lending, Banking Law and Marketing. Students interested in the banking emphasis should enjoy working with customers, and also have an interest in learning the principles of lending. The curriculum will supply you with the knowledge and skills to be a success in the financial industry and prepare you to obtain work as a Loan Officer, Banking Customer Service Representative or Bank Teller. With a career in banking, you will be able to do such things as: advise clients on financial matters; analyze applicant's financial status, credit information gathered by investigation and financial data; approve or deny loans; provide customer service and more.
