UIC's Certificate in Health Informatics (Post-Bachelor's) online program addresses the needs of health care, IT, and health information management professionals with at least a baccalaureate degree. Graduates are conversant in some current aspects of the implementation, operation, and control of health information systems. Course work emphasizes development of a state-of-the-art skill set and knowledge base grounded in health care information sciences. This online certificate program provides graduate-level credit for either continuing education credit or a credential indicative of advanced, current knowledge in the health informatics field. Please note: This certificate does not provide the courses necessary to take the RHIA exam.
