Certificate in Health Informatics (Post-Master’s)

UIC's Certificate in Health Informatics (Post-Master's) program is designed for self-motivated, experienced professionals in the health care and information technology fields. Students in the certificate program have already attained a master's-level degree and seek to further their educational backgrounds or careers with graduate-level coursework. This online certificate program contains coursework that emphasizes the development of knowledge grounded in health care information sciences. Unlike many certificate programs offered by trade associations, for-profit companies, or some university-based short certificate programs, the Certificate in Health Informatics at UIC provides an opportunity for students to earn graduate credit through an official, state-approved certificate program with the awarded certificate reflected on their transcripts.
