Special Education Endorsement Program - Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (K–12)

Offered By: Walden University

Walden University's College of Education offers a state-approved Special Education Endorsement Program with a specialization in Special Education - Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (K-12). For licensed teachers who want to transition into a special education classroom or bring these skills to their current teaching area, our practical, accelerated program combines the flexibility of online learning with hands-on field experiences. In 8 months (depending on individual progress), you can enhance your skills and increase your professional opportunities by fulfilling the requirements needed to teach K–12 students with special needs. Walden University's endorsement programs are approved by the Minnesota Board of Teaching for endorsement or add-on licensure in Minnesota. Candidates for this program must already hold a valid elementary or secondary teaching license. Walden's enrollment advisors can provide individuals with guidelines and other information about endorsements. It remains the individual's responsibility to understand and comply with the out-of-state endorsement requirements for the state in which he or she seeks to be endorsed.
