Courses

Courses apply directly to the demands placed on school leaders and provide the tools necessary to empower meaningful improvements in their schools.

Coursework includes five core courses, including Community of Learners, Curriculum & Instructional Design (with emphasis on Multicultural Classrooms), and Teacher Leadership. In addition, there are seven additional courses, including Foundations of ESL and Bilingual Education, Methods & Materials for Teaching English as a Second Language, Cross-Cultural Studies for Teaching Limited English Proficient Students.

A total of twelve, 5-week courses will be completed in 18 months. There is typically 1-2 weeks off between courses.
