Master of Education in Educational Leadership

The Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree program is designed to develop leaders who can build school communities that support learning for all students in a culture of continuous improvement. Through current, effective content, the College's Educational Leadership program successfully combines educational leadership theory and real world practice, equipping all students with learning and application of “what works†in schools.
Courses
Courses apply directly to the demands placed on school leaders and provide the tools and knowledge base necessary to empower meaningful improvements in their schools.
Coursework includes six core courses, including Classroom Management, Strengthening Literacy, Assessment for Learning, and Community Engagement. In addition, there are six Leadership courses, including Law & Policy, School Improvement, Developing Teachers and Resource Management.
A total of twelve, 5-week courses will be completed in 18 months. There is typically 1-2 weeks off between courses.
