AIU Online's Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication degree completion program with a concentration in Digital Design from the School of Visual Communication was created to educate and develop artistic and imaginative students for career opportunities in the fields of commercial art and design.
This degree completion program features a concentration in Digital Design, a real-world curriculum placing an emphasis on the development of the creative thinking process. Students will learn the principles, practical applications and methodologies used to complete competent and creative graphic solutions for specified design problems.
Throughout the Digital Design curriculum, they will create a portfolio of projects from each of their courses, the intent of which is to prepare them to pursue such opportunities as web designers, graphic designers, Flash animators and many other creative career opportunities. All required graphics software is included in the cost of the program, providing students with training in the latest design software necessary to help pursue a chosen career upon completion of the degree program.
