The Master of Science in Criminal Justice, offered by Bowling Green State University, emphasizes the development of individuals for leadership roles in criminal justice agencies, while providing those students who wish to continue their academic career with a solid base upon which to pursue doctoral level study. It is also excellent preparation for those who wish to pursue a career in teaching. Through the MSCJ program, you will obtain a solid background in theory and research, by understanding issues in law enforcement, corrections, courts and juvenile justice. This degree consists of 11 courses (33 semester hours) and a final capstone project. You have the flexibility to complete the program in one calendar year, attending full-time, or two calendar years, taking courses part-time.
