The curriculum, developed around national public health curriculum standards, uses a multidisciplinary approach that emphasizes environmental public health concepts; psychological, behavioral, and social factors influencing population-based health disparities; principles of epidemiology and biostatistics; public health administration systems and processes; and economics. Choose elective courses from other MPH specializations that reflect your interests and professional needs. A collaborative project involving local public health organizations is integrated into the curriculum, providing you the opportunity to gain practical knowledge of relevant organizations, programs, and policies.
