MS in Library and Information Science - Competitive Intelligence & Knowledge Management

The MS in Library & Information Science program prepares tomorrow's information professionals for roles such as web developers, knowledge management and Internet content specialists, competitive intelligence experts, or digital librarians. Students can choose a concentration in Competitive Intelligence & Knowledge Management. This concentration focuses on information needs and knowledge management in special library, corporate, and other organizational settings. 45 credits (15 courses) are required to obtain an MS in Library & Information Science.

This degree program is an innovative curriculum with a strong technological background and a focus on teaching career skills in all the aspects of information management, taught by the distinguished faculty of Drexel University's College of Information Science and Technology, and fully accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). In its "America's Best Graduate Schools 2010," U.S.News & World Report has ranked the Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology's Master's in Library and Information Science 11th in the nation overall, while its specialties in Information Systems and Digital Librarianship came in at numbers 5 and 6, respectively.
