Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science

In the Behavioral Science program, students are provided with the behavioral science theories, methods, and research findings to provide a disciplinary understanding of how scientists think about and understand human behavior. Students will understand and apply psychological principles to personal, social, and organizational issues. Students will develop insight into their own and others' behavior and mental processes and apply effective strategies for self-management and self-improvement.

Major courses include social environment and human behavior, research and evaluation, science of positive psychology, and disorders of human behavior.

Courses are offered in an accelerated, 8-week format. Students can obtain a degree in four years (less with transfer credits). Those entering with an associate's degree or equivalent can earn their Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science in about two years. Prospective students with prior college credit and/or other credit-bearing experience can submit transcripts for an evaluation and degree plan.
