Master of Science in Organizational Studies

Offered By: Robert Morris University

Employers and experts agree that the most important skills in the workplace are often not taught in traditional degree programs: interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence and the ability to work in a diverse environment. RMU's M.S. in Organizational Studies will provide you with all of these essential skills.

The program combines the academic rigor of a master's degree with an emphasis on communication, technology skills and applied learning. You'll study organizations and the personnel who manage them, including communications, ethics, structure, change, leadership, legal issues, critical thinking and decision-making. You'll not only learn theoretical concepts, but also their real-world application. You'll be encouraged and, in fact, required to bring problems you're experiencing in the workplace to the classroom and use the knowledge and skills you've learned to create a workable and immediate solution. In short, you'll gain the necessary skills to succeed in any work environment.
