The George Washington University's distance learning program in Educational Leadership & Administration is structured for the working educational professional. The Master of Arts program prepares you to effectively work in today's dynamic and complex educational environment and can be completed in 22 months. The 10 course (33 credit hour) core curriculum has been carefully designed to address current issues faced by educational leaders. GW has adopted the standards developed by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) which provides performance-based evidence that the curriculum and internship experiences meet those standards by balancing the political, managerial, and instructional roles of principals and the program is fully accredited by NCATE.Council (ELCC).
