If you are interested in understanding how health care data can be used to reduce costs and improve the quality of care, you can select the Health Informatics concentration. Courses cover the behavioral, cultural, ethical, and legal issues related to improving the underlying health status of the community and the delivery of health care services in a variety of environments. You will explore such timely topics as aging across the lifespan, primary, acute and long-term care, and public and global health. You will also gain a solid foundation in health management, informatics, health promotion and epidemiology.
