Master of Arts in Education

The teacher education online master's program is designed to assist educators who seek to develop reflective practitioner and research-assessment skills and build their leadership capacity to advance professionally.

Graduate students learn how to plan for educational programming, apply instructional strategies, conduct assessment, and modify practice according to the needs of the organization and individual learners—all of which is shaped and embedded within a chosen specialty area.

The 36 credit degree program can be completed in less than 30 months by taking one course every eight weeks. The program culminates with a two-semester action research project and creation of a portfolio.

Graduate students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Education at WLC may acquire a specialization in any of the following areas:
